The Ask
Chevron’s New Energies division needed to develop a forward-facing keynote presentation to align stakeholders around their sustainability strategy.
Fivestone Studios brought us in to lead the visual storytelling and content structure, with a mandate to bring credibility, elegance, and a strong sense of momentum to the message — while avoiding greenwashing or oversimplification.
The Challenge
- Chevron operates in a highly scrutinized space. Any sustainability communication must be airtight, supported by data, grounded in action, and visually trustworthy.
- The content was technical and broad, spanning decarbonization, innovation investment, and long-range climate targets.
- The challenge was to build a presentation that felt emotionally resonant, factually strong, and strategically aligned, all in a single keynote flow.

The Solution
- I approached the deck as a visual manifesto, using clean editorial layouts, minimalist animations, and high-contrast data visualizations to deliver a sense of ambition without overhyping.
- The design language leaned into abstraction, representing energy, ecosystems, and movement with subtle visual metaphors.
- The structure walked viewers through past progress, current initiatives, and future commitments, framing Chevron as a company acting with urgency and discipline.
The Outcome
- The final presentation was used at high-level internal meetings and external partner briefings, helping the New Energies division unify its voice and messaging.
- Stakeholders noted the clarity and modernity of the visuals and appreciated the balance between honesty and optimism.
