The Ask

The International Advertising Association (IAA) needed a complete overhaul of its global website — one that could support its multi-region operations, highlight its thought leadership, and offer a user-friendly experience to members worldwide. Their old website had become fragmented, slow, and difficult to update, making it hard for IAA to represent itself as a modern, globally connected organization.

The Challenge

IAA’s challenge was both technical and strategic: How do you build a digital presence that works equally well for visitors in Mumbai and New York, for students and CEOs, and for showcasing both regional and global content?

The structure had to be scalable, intuitive, and on-brand, but also flexible enough for different regional teams to update their own pages.

The existing content was outdated and inconsistent, requiring significant editorial restructuring and content strategy support.

The Solution

I designed and developed a clean, responsive website with a modular CMS that allows each IAA chapter to contribute and update content while preserving brand consistency.

The information architecture was restructured around three core pillars: community, education, and advocacy.

I created templates for events, news, leadership bios, and membership tiers, and integrated search and filter tools for easy navigation.

The design language emphasized clarity, international accessibility, and visual storytelling.

The Outcome

The result is a future-proof digital home for IAA that reflects its global reach and mission.

The centralized yet flexible CMS empowers local chapters to manage their own content, while the overarching brand voice and visual consistency reinforce IAA’s leadership in global advertising discourse.

Engagement improved across key regions, and the platform now serves as both an advocacy hub and a membership engine for the organization.
