Designing a New Business Pitch Deck to online tech store CDW
For a high-stakes pitch, Ogilvy brought me in to design a sharp, on-brand deck that positioned them as CDW’s ideal creative partner—blending storytelling, clarity, and strategic depth.
The Ask
This included showcasing:• Ogilvy’s five business units • Their unified yet modular service model • Sector-specific B2B experience • Global scale and tech fluency • All within a cohesive, emotionally intelligent narrative that emphasized creative firepower and strategic depth.
The Challenge
• The deck needed to speak to both marketing and procurement stakeholders — marrying creativity with business rigor • CDW operates in a complex, solution-driven B2B space, requiring more than flashy visuals — every slide had to earn its place • Internal stakeholders at Ogilvy wanted to present both horizontal integration and vertical expertise without overwhelming the client
The Solution
• Built narrative around “impact happens at the intersection,” Ogilvy’s core idea • Highlighted five verticals with distinct but connected design blocks • Designed modular layouts to navigate seamlessly across disciplines • Added B2B proof points with logos, maps, and sector casework • Kept storytelling human, distilling complexity into plain, relatable themes
The Outcome
• The deck served as the anchor narrative for Ogilvy’s relationship-building with CDW and aligned all practice leads under a single storytelling framework. • Design and story choices made the agency’s breadth feel empowering, not overwhelming. • Helped reinforce Ogilvy’s position as a modern, tech-competent creative powerhouse with depth in B2B.
