Project Overview
Intercept Pharmaceuticals
POA Field Training — Strong Foundation
Field training that reps actually wanted to sit through.
The Ask
Design a fully branded, modular PowerPoint deck for Intercept’s POA (Plan of Action) meeting workshop that:• Translates complex pharmaceutical positioning into simple, motivational slides • Balances scientific messaging with sales engagement • Includes interactive elements (e.g., SWOT analysis, meme challenge, think tanks)
The Challenge
• Dry, abstract strategy content needed to feel engaging • Mixed audience from new hires to senior reps required clarity and flexibility • Workshop had to fit into 2h45 without losing energy • Design had to stay on-brand while building emotional connection
The Solution
• Built a story-driven arc with empathy, clarity, interaction, and action • Used visual metaphors (superheroes, racing, molecular motifs) to anchor ideas • Created modular sections for breakouts, discussions, and a “meme challenge” • Delivered animated, facilitator-ready slides with smooth pacing cues
The Outcome
The workshop transformed dense strategy into an interactive experience that energized reps, aligned them to Intercept’s vision, and gave managers a reusable training toolkit. The VP of Sales connected with me on LinkedIn and requested my help to design their annual keynote.
