Designing an engaging Sales Deck in Foodservice
A sales tool that speaks startup energy with enterprise-level clarity, built to grow with the business.
The Ask
FoodSpace needed a master sales deck that could clearly articulate their value proposition to a range of stakeholders — from national grocery buyers and retail tech partners to investors and procurement teams. The ask wasn’t just for “pretty slides,” but for a modular storytelling system that could flex based on audience type, depth of conversation, and stage of engagement.
The Challenge
• The company’s offering is multifaceted, combining AI, computer vision, data science, and retail UX, which makes it challenging to explain quickly without overwhelming the viewer. • Their prior decks leaned too heavily on text and internal language, which confused early-stage calls. • We needed to clarify the story, highlight benefits over features, and build a visual system that could support short intros and deep dives alike.
The Solution
• We created a dynamic, brand-aligned sales deck built around modular narrative blocks: What We Solve, How It Works, Why It’s Different, and Who It’s For. • The slides were minimal, graphic, and hierarchy-driven, with clear icons and bold headers guiding attention. • Animated flows and product mockups showed how the tech integrates into real retail environments, while a flexible “menu” structure allowed sales reps to tailor the story to each audience.
The Outcome
• The new deck became FoodSpace’s go-to communication tool across departments, used for sales calls, investor intros, and internal strategy meetings. • Teams reported improved understanding from external audiences, shorter sales cycles, and more confidence presenting the company’s capabilities. • It also reinforced design consistency and storytelling clarity across the broader brand ecosystem.
